Dschinghis Khan made Leslie Mandoki a hero of Schlager music. Today he stirs up the pop industry with ambitious high brow music. For several years now his production company Red-Rock Studios has been among the most important addresses in the music business. For the album "Soulmates", he rounded up soulmates who share his passion for hand-made music. The people of the music industry rub their eyes in astonishment: only released at the beginning of November, the CD climbs the German charts. And even though it's been recorded in the old-fashioned analog technology, it also appeals to the big radio stations.
He's the busiest studio musician in Germany. Now he scored a real coup. The musical know-how mobilized by the supposed interpreter of Schlager music is really quite something. The musicians contribute to the exceptional quality and musical variety of Mandoki's project.
